There has been an exciting new change to the format and direction for the MPDG 2010 Conference. The national conference is going to focus on being more inclusive with providing opportunity for all delegates, trades and non-members attendance at the three day event. Whilst the reporting back to Associations still remains a top priority, we intend also offering a speaker programme which will be of interest to more Master Plumber Members as well.

The format will mean that the official AGM will be held for the first half day and then move into an afternoon with eight Product Showcase sessions. These thirty minute sessions were introduced at the 2009 Auckland Conference and were extremely well received. They will give industry partners a chance to present and promote new products, ideas and services to the broader industry.

The second day of conference will be an open industry forum with key note speakers and industry presenters. This forum will be completely open to industry players and non-members, as well as an opportunity for all Members to be involved.

In conjunction with this new format, there will be the Trade Expo available for Thursday and Friday and attendance to this will be limited to 26 stands. So please register your interest immediately with me.

Being in Hawkes Bay the fruit bowl of the north island, the programme will also offer a full day of activities on the Saturday leading up to the Awards Dinner on that night.

The conference will run a great programme of events and activities that is sure to make your stay in Napier of enormous value to you, your staff and business. We welcome you and your partner to our provincial region of art, culture and activity.
